Unlimited Ventures is happy to announce that we are bringing in Seedstars Kathmandu for the third time in Nepal. Seedstars is the World’s Biggest Start-up Pitch Competition in the emerging market to win up to USD One million including perks and prizes.

Wai Wai Seedstars Kathmandu in collaboration with Seedstars World, the global seed-stage startup competition is coming to Kathmandu on 19th Nov. In line with its mission to place the spotlight on entrepreneurs from emerging markets, Seedstars World is travelling to more than 65 countries this year to identify the best seed-stage entrepreneurs and provide them with an opportunity to win up to USD 1 million and network with investors and mentors from around the world along with access to 65+ markets. Its previous participants have raised over USD 61M collectively, providing employment to more than 360 employees worldwide.

The companies selected to pitch at the Seedstars Kathmandu event hosted by Unlimited Ventures. The startup must be less than 2 years old, have raised less than USD 500,000 in funding and have built a minimum viable product, ideally with existing traction. The Unlimited Ventures team is searching for one additional criterion for this competition- the start up’s regional and global scalability. This time we are partnering with Antarprerana to support startups on mentorship and helping out with idea validation.

On 19th November, Nepal’s up to 8 best seed stage start-ups will compete in the National Finals and the winner will get invited to pitch his/her solution in Regional Summit, Bangkok and Global Summit, Switzerland to untap the network of 100+ investors, 120+ experts and mentors, 9 workshops, up to USD 9m+ investments, 9 prizes.
