Application to be a TED Fellow

Application cycle: October 4, 2016- November 13, 2016

TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. It believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. On, it is building a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the world’s most inspired thinkers — and a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other, both online and at TED and TEDx events around the world, all year long.

Every year, through a rigorous open application process, TED selects a group of rising stars to be TED Fellows. It chooses Fellows based on remarkable achievement, their strength of character and on their innovative approach to solving the world’s tough problems. Fellows are invited to attend a TED conference, where they meet, exchange ideas and connect with the larger TED community. They also give their own TED Talk – an unprecedented opportunity to disseminate their unique ideas to the world.

Twenty fellows are going to be selected to attend the TED conference to be held in April 24-28, 2017 in Vancouver Canada. They will also get an opportunity to attend the pre-conference program with the training by speakers. The TED fellows program provides transformation support to the global network of 400 visionaries-scientist, artist, activist, entrepreneurs, doctors, journalist and inventors-who collaborate across disciplines to create positive change around the world.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Above 18 years of age
  • Individuals from all around the world can apply
  • English proficiency

TED will bear flight to and from the TED conference, visa needed, room, board and food while at the conference and a conference pass.
