Call for participation: APPDSA Youth Forum Nepal

Global Peace Foundation Nepal is organizing Asia Pacific Peace and Development Service Alliance (APPDSA) Youth Forum in Kathmandu, Nepal with the theme “Moral and Innovative Leadership: New Models for Peace and Development.”

Forum Date: October 7, 2017 (Saturday 9:30 am – 5pm)
Venue: United World Trade Center, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu
Early Bird Deadline: 15th September, 2017

Program Highlights
– Moral and Innovative Leadership Workshop
– Panel Discussion on the SDGs goals from National/International Experts
– Idea Pitching Session – Best idea will be eligible to win grant up to 500 USD
– Interaction, Engagement and Exchanges among National and International participants

Background of APPDSA

On 28th October, 2014, UNESCAP in collaboration with UNESCO, Global Peace Foundation and Global Young Leaders Academy convened the Asia-Pacific Conference on Youth Volunteerism to Promote Participation, Development and Peace at the UNCC, Bangkok and launched the Asia Pacific Peace and Development Service Alliance (APPDSA). It established a broad-based Pan-Asian platform for youth and civic society action and partnership to support the adoption of post-SDGs 2015 including multilateral service partners, NGOs, and the private sector to foster youth volunteering on health, environmental, disaster response, peace-building, youth entrepreneurship and education.

You will be notified about your selection and you need to confirm your participation by paying the registration fee.

Early Bird Registration Fee: 1000 NRs (you need to apply within 15th September, 2017 to be eligible for this.)
Late Registration Fee: 1500 NRs

Registration Package includes:

– Lunch packets
– Tea & snacks
